The Bar Association of San Francisco, who will be setting up college counseling services for the Academy in the Fall, is offering summer workshops especially for Academy Seniors. This is a wonderful opportunity to get a head-start on your college applications!
The summer curriculum is designed to prepare new seniors for the time sensitive application process in the fall. The summer program will include student assessments, college application and supplement prep, assistance with personal statements, understanding of FAFSA, scholarships and other funding as well as tips on how to obtain appropriate recommendations. In addition there will also be opportunities for parents to attend workshops and gather valuable information on how to support their student on the pathway to college. A provisional outline of the workshops is shown below along with the dates that they are taking place.
