Before becoming a teacher, Mark spent his time as a computer systems and network administrator in addition to leading a parallel life as a professional DJ and music producer, traveling extensively around the Americas and Europe. Not content to be a just a performer, he has produced numerous small and large-scale events in and around the Bay Area.
Mark has a Masters Degree in Environmental Science, awarded by the University of East Anglia (UEA) in the U.K. - considered to be one of the worlds premier centers for environmental science education. He received his teaching credential from San Francisco State University (SFSU). He also has extensive training in computer science, media and technology.
