The Academy of Arts and Sciences is dedicated to providing each student with a nurturing and individualized learning experience.  We are here to promote self-advocacy, foster social awareness, and cultivate creative problem solving skills.

Tours are from 8:00 – 9:15 AM (NO RSVP NEEDED FOR TOUR)

The tour dates are:  10/16, 10/23, 11/13, 11/20, 12/11

(SAME DAYS AS SOTA, BUT DIFFERENT TIMES)

Tours will begin with a Q and A session with counselors, students, administrators and parents.  The actual tours will be led by students and current parents.

Shadowing from 9:30 – 12:20 AM (MUST RSVP)

Shadowing will be the SAME DAY AS THE TOURS.  Shadow students should be picked up/leave campus at 12:20 or stay through lunch until 1:10.

School Loop is an online application for Middle and High school students and parents to communicate with their teachers, as an alternative to email.  It allows staff to access each student’s workload and grades and provides digital lockers to store and share files. Assignments and grades can be checked and may be emailed home each day.

When: Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 6 PM

Where: Sign in at the Gym between 6 PM - 6:30 PM

Why:  Meet your child's teachers and get a feel for what's in store for them this year. Sign up to hold a position in the Academy Parent Organization (A.P.O.) or to volunteer for specific events during the school year. Learn how you can get involved and support your child's school. Show school spirit and purchase an Academy t-shirt.
